It may be one part of the film or the entire film itself. To celebrate our partnership with Hope Studios as our marvellous lab venue, we want all films made in the final round to include a focus on dance and movement. Already have a film in mind? Now is the time to think of how an element of that film can be presented live at the screening venue. Every film must include a live element during the public screening, be it a live dance or performance piece, live music to accompany the film, or audience participation. Crucially, this will be where our pitching sessions will take place. Hope Studios will be our dedicated lab-space where anyone can edit their films, prep for shoots, use a green-screen, or simply relax with their fellow “Kinoites”.
